An UrbanGovTools Platform solution

The road network, mapped and costed

Road Management Tool is part of the suite of planning tools hosted on UrbanGovTools Platform. UrbanGovTools Platform is the territorial governance platform developed by GéoDataNum. It brings together urban planning, public service management and revenue tracking, on a database shared by every department.

The dashboard shows road length by sector, network condition, road type and the related costs. Each district is one click away.

Know every road, section by section
Every section is identified, geolocated and described: surface, width, length, condition, last works.
Plan maintenance instead of reacting
Surveyed condition and traffic set the priorities. The municipality repairs what is deteriorating before rebuilding becomes unavoidable.
Cost it before deciding
Theoretical construction cost, maintenance cost, length concerned: the budget is discussed on figures tied to places.

    Maintenance programme, rehabilitation plan, budget decisions.

Network condition is rated in four classes

  • Good
  • Medium
  • Poor
  • Very poor

Aerial drone surveys and photogrammetry are carried out in partnership with MultiRotor Services.
